Practice nudges: a reminder at the moment you chose

A nudge is one notification a day, at a time you pick, that reminds you of a practice. It shows the practice and the line you chose, so a glance at your lock screen is enough. You don't need to open Myndo.

Set one up

• In a conversation. When Myndo helps you start a practice tied to a moment in your day, like after dinner, it may offer a nudge. Say yes, agree the time and what it should say, and it's saved.
• Just ask. In a conversation, ask Myndo to nudge you about any practice you have, like "Can you nudge me about my evening walk at 8?" Myndo sets it and tells you when the first one comes.
• In the app. Open the practice in Self → Practices and tap Add a nudge. Pick the time, the days and the line it shows.

You can have nudges on up to three practices at a time.

What you'll see

The notification's title is the practice, and the text is your line, for example:

Tap it and the practice opens.

A month at a time

A nudge runs for a month. The last one says so: "Last nudge for now. Open Myndo to keep it." On the practice, tap Keep for another month, or Stop to end it. If you do nothing, it stops on its own, and Turn on brings it back any time.

When a nudge holds back

• During a conversation with Myndo. It never interrupts a call.
• When a check-in you booked is within the hour. The check-in comes first.

Change it or turn it off

Open the practice and tap the nudge to change the time, the days or the line, or tap Turn off. Turning it off keeps your settings, so you can switch it back on later.

Not getting nudges?

• Allow notifications for Myndo in your phone's Settings. On Android, also check that the Practice nudges notifications aren't muted.
• Update Myndo to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
• One phone at a time. Nudges go to the phone you used Myndo on most recently.

Note: Nudges are a phone feature. The web app doesn't send them.
